• Specifications.
• Total square footage of affected area.
• Applicability: Eligible for both retrofit projects, where no heat curtain previously existed, and new construction projects.
• Qualifying Efficiency Requirement: The heat curtains must show a natural gas savings rate of at least 40%, as shown on the invoice.
• Exclusions: Replacing electric equipment — fuel switching.
• Other requirements:
o The new heat curtains must be specifically designed by the manufacturer for the purpose of heat retention within greenhouses.
o The product must come with an effective life warranty of at least five years.
o Heat curtains must be controlled with a timer or thermostat.
o The incentive is based on the square footage of the affected area.
